African Union (AU) Internship Program 2022

Qualified individuals from various academic areas have the chance to get professional exposure within the AU through the full-time internship program. As a company that values diversity and encourages teamwork, AU strongly invites all competent people to apply. Candidates should have a strong interest in the AU's work as well as the capacity to communicate with people of different cultural origins and religious beliefs.

Application Requirements

The Program is open to applicants who are:

Nationals of the African Unionâs Member States;
Students enrolled in full-time undergraduate (in final year of study)/ postgraduate study or graduates from a recognized institution of learning;
Fluent in one of the AU official working languages (Arabic, English, French or Portuguese, Kishwahili);
Applicants must be aged between 22 and 32 at the time of application;
Meet the requirements specified in the terms of reference.

Dollar Range: The program seeks to develop participants' personal and professional abilities and expose them to the operations of the AU at an early stage of their professional careers. It gives participants a chance to practice their skills in a variety of relevant professions while learning about other cultures. Participants who are adequately knowledgeable and skilled in the subject matter will lend their support to the AU and possibly act as a breeding ground for future African leaders.
